Nissan Skyline GTR r35
The Nissan GT-R is a high-performance sports car and grand tourer produced by Nissan that was unveiled in 2007. It is the successor to the Skyline GT-R, a high performance variant of the Nissan Skyline. Although the car is the sixth-generation model to bear the GT-R name, the model is no longer part of the Nissan Skyline model lineup since that name is now reserved for Nissan's luxury-sport vehicles. The GT-R shares the Nissan FM platform with the now separate Nissan Skyline luxury car and the Nissan Z-car sports car. Between 1969 and 1974, and again between 1989 and 2002, Nissan produced a high performance version of its Skyline coupe called the Nissan Skyline GT-R. This car proved to be iconic for Nissan and achieved much fame and success on both road and track. The GT-R has also retained its Skyline predecessor's nickname, Godzilla, originally given to it by the Australian motoring publication Wheels in its July 1989 edition.

The 1.4, 1.6 and 2.0D engines were available in three- and five-door hatchbacks and four-door sedans, while the GTi was only available in a three-door version. Almost all Almers sold in the UK were three- or five-door hatchbacks, which was significantly different from other markets, such as Ireland, where body selection was significantly poorer. On all models in a basic complete set went: the power steering, a driver's airbag, electric mirrors and a stereo, everything went according to the standard. During the release of the Almera, many "special versions" of this car were released, but they differed little in functionality from conventional models.
